Returns disposition and cycle time.

Definition

One row per return against a delivered order with denormalized client + site, return date, disposition, reason, units returned, return value, cycle time, and a restocked flag. Row-detail concept `return_case` via mart_returns; feeds metric_returns_rate. `return_reason` is aliased to `reason` and `return_value_eur` to `return_value` on the mart. `client_id` is denormalized from the parent order (INC-22 integrity test).

return_id

UUID5 — primary key on the source side. Stable across re-syncs.

The parent (delivered) order. String on the wire; coerced and validated against `whse_orders` in staging.

customer +3 PII

client_id

Denormalized owning client (from the parent order), carried for the row policy. INC-22 integrity test asserts equality to the parent order's client_id.

site_id

Denormalized site (from the parent order). String on the wire.

return_date

ISO-8601 return date (≥ parent order delivered_date). Coerced to Date in staging.

disposition

Return disposition — `restock`, `repair`, `recycle`, `scrap`.

return_reason

Return reason — `damaged`, `wrong_item`, `late_delivery`, `no_longer_needed`, `quality_defect`. Aliased to `reason` on the mart.

units_returned

Units returned. Coerced to Int32 in staging (passthrough to mart unchanged, INC-14).

return_value_eur

Return value in EUR. Coerced to Decimal(14,2). RAW name aliased to `return_value` on the mart (INC-11).

cycle_time_days

Days from receipt to disposition. Coerced to UInt16 in staging.

restocked

1 if disposition = 'restock', else 0. Coerced from "true"/"false" → UInt8.
